In keeping with our commitment to excellence, we hand select logs from two species of wood for your Country Log home – Norway Red Pine and Eastern White Pine. Both species are endowed with a glowing inner beauty and excellent durability.

You can build your log home from one of seven different log styles provided by Country Log Homes – a special look for every log home lover. Our trademark HANDPEELED log style, offered with three different interior log style choices, has long been our most popular log profile. It could be the unique, rustic appeal created by the process of peeling each log for your log home totally by hand! This infuses each log with its own character, character that can’t be matched by the often “striped” or “gouged” look created by mechanical debarking processes. There truly is no substitute for the care and craftsmanship of the Country Log Homes staff as they prepare each log for your log home.

If a milled look is what you’re after you have a choice of two exterior log styles. You may select a machined, three-sided curved exterior or a machined “clapboard” profile for a more conventional look.
