Located in central Texas, this is a custom designed REAL LOG HOME as grand
as the state itself. Designed with the hot Texas climate in mind, the residence
is as efficient as it is comfortable. Constructed of whole, random diameter
logs of southern yellow pine with standard corners in rustic style, designers
were careful not to have any southern exposure that would let in too much
sun. The installed heat pumps help to warm the house in the winter and
cool it in the summer.
The
REAL LOG HOMES Interlock® Joinery system creates a weather-tight seal,
and the interior is finished with oak stain and lacquer. Featuring unique
archways between rooms, a custom mantle over the Oklahoma sandstone fireplace,
and a 22-foot cathedral ceiling arching over the Great Room, this residence
will provide satisfied ownership for generations to come.
